Locate Installation Files

You receive your CIMCO Edit via the download link in your account page , download it and save the file in a temporary directory.

Run Installation Program

First you must log on using an account with full administrative privileges.

Start the installation program by right clicking on the setup application ( CIMCOEdit_8xxxx.exe) and select run as a administrator. Now follow the instructions of the Setup Wizard that will guide you through the installation steps.

When the installation is completed, you will find a shortcut to the CIMCO Edit application in the CIMCO program group in the Start menu and in the desktop.

Activate your Editor

After starting the Editor for the first time you need to activate your web license.
The Activation Key can be found in MY ACCOUNT  under License keys.

Enter your code and click on Activatie web license.

Problem starting the Editor

• If you have an internet connection and the program don’t start after you have enter your code, please make sure that port 441 is open in your firewall.
• If you had an old installation you can delete the license files that are located in this folder:
  %PROGRAMDATA%\CIMCO AS\
• Contact us for whitelisting IP addresses for port 441 in your firewall.
