With more than 80,000 licenses distributed in recent years, CIMCO Edit is one of the most widely used CNC program editors on the market. The software is easy to use and includes advanced functionality such as file compare, NC-Assistant, backplot, solid simulation, and DNC support, all focused on improving productivity for CNC programmers. The solution can be extended with specialized add-ons for Mazatrol file viewing, 2D CAD/CAM geometry, and full 3D machine simulation.
Machine Simulation is available as an add-on for CIMCO Edit subscriptions, allowing NC programs to be simulated on accurate 3D models of CNC machines. This makes it possible to detect collisions, over-travel, and other programming issues before running the program on the physical machine, improving shop safety and reducing setup time.

CIMCO Edit Professional uses a floating license system that allows multiple users to access the software from different machines.
