License is valid for CIMCO Edit V8, CIMCO Edit 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Machine Simulation requires CIMCO Edit 2025.01.25 or newer.
With over 80,000 licenses distributed in the past few years, CIMCO Edit is the most popular CNC program editor on the market. CIMCO Edit is easy to use and includes powerful features such as file compare, NC-Assistant, backplot, solid simulation, and DNC capabilities to improve the productivity of CNC programmers. Specialized add-ons are available for viewing Mazatrol files, working with 2D CAD/CAM, and performing full 3D machine simulation.
CIMCO Edit Professional Lifetime includes DNC capabilities for reliable RS-232 communications with a wide range of CNC controls. With the DNC option, you can send and receive CNC programs to multiple machines directly from within CIMCO Edit.
Machine Simulation is available as an add-on for CIMCO Edit and can be added at any time. Customers with existing CIMCO Edit Professional Lifetime licenses can easily purchase and activate Machine Simulation through the My Account page, without needing to replace or reinstall their editor.
Lifetime access, CIMCO Edit Professional uses a floating license system, which allows multiple users to access the software from different machines. For example, any number of users can have the editor installed, but only one user can run it at a time if only one license is available.
